Q: Does HEFN give grants?
A: No. HEFN is not a grantmaking institution. It does not give grants.
Q: Does HEFN recommend grants to funders?
A: No. As a matter of policy, the HEFN staff does not recommend any grantseeker, proposal, or strategy to funders.
Q: Will HEFN highlight my organization or campaign on one of their conference calls?
A: HEFN and its members are keenly interested in learning about organizations and campaigns addressing environmental health issues. However, HEFN programs do not highlight single organizations or grant proposals.
Q: How do I share information with funders through HEFN?
A: Grantmakers and grantseekers working on environmental health or environmental justice issues may use HEFN's website to share information by creating a profile and posting links or reports on our website. The first step is to sign up to be an approved website user. (It's free!) Look on the right side of this site's home page for "New User?" and follow the prompts. Questions? Email hefn@hefn.org.
