Through HEFN and our funder group partners, there are many opportunities to find your grantmaking niche and be part of a lively learning-and-collaboration community.

HEFN currently supports four working groups,  formed as a number of our funders see particular potential in an area and decide to work together for greater effectiveness.  Please email us with your interests or join our community!

• HEFN Catalysts for a Healthy Future is a collaborative of funders supporting work related to chemicals, environment and health. Catalysts seek to promote changes related to chemicals – whether in policy, markets, technologies, or communities – that all are aimed at health: healthier people, communities, ecosystems, products, and economies.

• Women, Environment & Health Working Group with interests both in environmental health issues of concern to women and in the roles of women in the environmental health movement.
• Environmental Health & Environmental Justice Working Group around environmental exposures, health disparities, and capacity-building of low-income communities and communities of color.

•  HEFN's newest group is HEFN-California, a learning community of grantmakers supporting environmental health and environmental justice in California.
