Environmental Grantmakers Association (EGA) Federal Policy Briefing

The mid-term elections are now behind us and as we look ahead to a new Congress and shifting policy landscape for environmental priorities, the 2015 EGA Federal Policy Briefing will provide a platform to connect and discuss our next steps in ways that can strengthen our philanthropic efforts.

The results of the election have clear implications for environmental policies and actions. What is important to you? What should we be collectively discussing? Offensive and defensive strategies?  Markets vs. legislation? Obama’s legacy? Impact of state and local change on federal policy? Power of international agreements? Energizing and diversifying our advocacy?

All of these -- and more -- are subjects  ripe for delving into and pondering together. For EGA members, the best way to ensure that we cover the topics and hear from the speakers that you’re interested in is through member session proposals – so be sure to make your voices heard by submitting your ideas by November 10th! Help us set the stage with creative sessions, interactive formats, and surprising guests.  It is up to you to make it happen so bring on those session ideas!
