Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Funders (SAFSF) 11th Annual Forum - Rethinking Risk and Resilience

This forum will explore how philanthropy can support individual and community resilience and ensure all people can flourish in the “world risk society” of contemporary agriculture and food production. It will also discuss what risks to reputations (and endowments) foundations are ready to assume to co-create more resilient, sustainable and equitable food systems. The Funders' Network (TFN) Site Visit to Buffalo, NY

This site visit will explore initiatives blending green, health, community and economic development. Participants will learn about the diverse and dynamic community building, community development, and economic redevelopment work underway in Buffalo. It will also explore strategies such as investing in smart growth principles; protecting water resources, waterfront, and habitat; and increasing diversity and equity in the labor force.
