America's Gulf Coast is a resilient region. Home to some of the country's oldest settlements, its people have fought yearly hurricanes, flooding, extreme heat, and tropical diseases. Today the BP oil spill threatens the long-term health of the Gulf's wildlife, economy, and people. Donors have an opportunity to help the region recover from the spill. The Philanthropy Roundtable and the Southeastern Council of Foundations invite you to discuss how philanthropy can help build a vibrant, healthy, and resilient Gulf Coast.

Keynote Speaker
Ray Mabus, United States Secretary of the Navy

Other Speakers Include
Scott Burns, director of environment programs, Walton Family Foundation
Elizabeth Love, Houston Endowment Inc.
Bruce Yandel, senior fellow, Property & Environment Research Center
