SPECIAL INVITE: DC Environmental Health Forum - February 6, 2010!!!
- Description
- Dear Friends,
Please save Saturday February 6th, 2010 in your calendar for the DC
Environmental Health Collaborative's Third Community Health Forum. This
event will be held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, located
at 901 G Street Northwest Washington, DC from 10am-1:30pm.
The Collaborative was designed as a vehicle through which community
organizations can work with other agencies in true partnership to coordinate
shared objectives for improving the environmental health and quality of life
for those in the District of Columbia. The Collaborative is sponsoring this
Forum so that community stakeholders will have an opportunity to hear about
and discuss key local environmental health concerns. All participants will
join together to create an action agenda to address key issues of concern
such as drinking water in schools, healthy homes, asthma, and lead
poisoning.
A warm lunch will be provided for participants and activities for children
will be available. Transportation to the for those in need can be requested
when you RSVP.
Attached is the tentative agenda for the Forum, a flyer about the event, and
a draft abstract for the paper which will result after the input from the
Forum is collected.
All are invited and we encourage you to share this invitation widely!
Please RSVP to Joanne Pérodin with the Children's Environmental Health
