Program Officer - Climate and Land Use
The David and Lucile Packard Foundation is seeking a Program Officer to lead its work on Climate and Land Use, with a particular emphasis on work to reduce emissions associated with agriculture. The individual will manage an annual grant budget of $10 million, lead the design and implementation of the Foundation’s Climate and Land Use grantmaking strategy, and represent the Foundation on the CLUA Program Team. This position will work closely with grantees to achieve strategic outcomes that slow or reduce net GHG emissions associated with agriculture. Web and Communications Outreach Coordinator

Development Director and Finance Manager

Policy Advocate - Toxic-Free Neighborhoods Campaign
Environmental Health Coalition, a San Diego/Tijuana non-profit social and environmental justice organization dedicated to empowering people, organizing communities and achieving justice for low-income communities of color, is seeking an individual to strengthen its work in City Heights related to air pollution, transportation and land use with its base of resident members. The individual will work to implement the City Heights Built Environment Community Driven Action Plan, develop guidance for grassroots organizing, represent the interests of EHC and its members before decision-making authorities, and ally groups in order to change or enforce public policies. The individual should have at least three years experience in grassroots organizing and/or policy work and a background in land-use planning, transportation, community development, political science or other related fields. Program Director

Legislative Research Intern, Winter/Spring 2013
Oregon Environmental Council (OEC) is seeking a Research Intern to assist the Legislative Director.
