Communications Associate -- The Funder's Network

Description

This position is based at the Funders’ Network office, which is located in Coral Gables, Florida, a historic city within the Miami metropolitan area. Individuals interested in being a part of a mission-driven membership organization with an international profile are encouraged to apply. Job Description: Working in partnership with other staff, the Communications Associate will help improve internal and external communications and systems at the Network. Job duties will include the following responsibilities: • Developing and improving internal and external communications strategies and practices. • Preparing stories about the activities and impact of Network members and the Network itself for various audiences (members, staff, board of directors, funders, nonprofits, media and others). • Managing the production of publications and other media on behalf of the organization. • Assisting with the implementation of systems, including contact management and knowledge management, and coordinating efforts to improve information management processes. • Managing the organization’s website. • Representing the organization at events and working to enhance coordination and collaboration with other organizations to maximize mutual benefit from these relationships.
