Komen for the Cure and Silent Spring Institute announced on May 14, 2007 the publication of Environmental Factors in Breast Cancer: a public, free and easily searchable online database that houses information on specific carcinogens, references for 900 different studies and a detailed review of environmental factors that may increase the risk of breast cancer. The database covers a diverse range of resources regarding the genetic, behavioral and environmental factors that may be connected to higher breast cancer risk.
