Kid-Safe Chemicals Act

Description
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) describes why the existing toxic chemical regulatory law, or the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976, is drastically out-dated and simply does not do enough to protect ourselves and our children from chemical exposures that negatively affect our health. Therefore, EWG proposes a new Kid-Safe Chemicals Act to be passed by Congress to change the existing chemical regulatory law to better protect the environment and human’s health.
