On October 27-28, 2014, funders interested in shaping a healthier and fairer version of 2029 will meet in Los Angeles for HEFN's 2014 Annual Meeting. At this two-day gathering, funders and donors will:

  • Spark conversation about positive visions for the next 5, 10, 15 years;
  • Gain inspiration from cutting-edge research, organizing, and policy in LA, the Golden State, and elsewhere;
  • Explore alternatives development in areas like green chemistry and renewable energy, local control and civic engagement, policy tools and investment strategies, community resilience and economic development;
  • Celebrate philanthropy's past 15 years of investment, learning, and field-building for healthier people, environments, and communities; and,
  • Strategize philanthropy's next moves to enable and accelerate progress towards the best possible version of our future.
